Some people believe that governments should focus on building more renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, to achieve sustainability. Others think that individuals should take more responsibility for reducing energy consumption in their daily lives.
Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Sustainability is a major concern for governments and citizens worldwide, and there is ongoing debate about whether the focus should be on developing renewable energy or encouraging individuals to reduce energy use. Both approaches are important, but I believe a combination of the two is the most effective solution.
On one hand, governments play a crucial role in promoting sustainability by investing in renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power. Large-scale initiatives can reduce dependence on fossil fuels, decrease pollution, and provide long-term benefits for the environment. For example, countries that have heavily invested in solar energy have significantly lowered their carbon emissions.
On the other hand, individuals also have a responsibility to conserve energy in their daily lives. Simple actions like turning off lights when not in use, using energy-efficient appliances, and reducing unnecessary travel can collectively have a significant impact. If people ignore their role in energy conservation, even the best government policies may not achieve their full potential.
In my opinion, governments should lead the transition to renewable energy while simultaneously educating and motivating citizens to adopt sustainable habits. A combined effort ensures that both systemic changes and individual actions work together to protect the environment.
In conclusion, sustainability requires cooperation between governments and individuals. While renewable energy development is vital, personal responsibility in energy consumption is equally necessary to achieve meaningful and lasting environmental improvements.
