Exercise 1 : Writing

Instructions: Write a short paragraph about a science experiment or fact that you find fun and interesting. Include the following information:

  1. Experiment/Fact Name: What is the name of the experiment or the science fact?

  2. What It Involves: Describe what the experiment or fact is about.

  3. How It Works: Explain how the experiment is done or how the science fact works.

  4. Why It’s Fun: Share why you find this experiment or fact fun and interesting.

Example:

“My favorite science experiment is making a volcano. It involves using baking soda and vinegar to create an eruption. First, you build a small volcano shape using clay or a plastic bottle. Then, you add baking soda inside the volcano. Finally, you pour vinegar into the volcano, and it bubbles up and overflows like lava! This experiment is fun because it looks like a real volcano erupting, and it teaches us about chemical reactions.”

Use the example to help guide your writing. Enjoy exploring the fun side of science!
